Westcore Capital Announces Two New Hires

Westcore Capital Limited has appointed Reed Fischer as director of the private client group as the company moves to expand its alternative investment offerings.

Fischer used to be a manager at a financial services firm where he handled a team of 20 advisors. Prior to that, he served as chairperson of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Also recently hired is Kevin Russo, who has been named vice president of the private client group. Russo was a financial advisor at Rothbury Insurance Brokers.

Alternative assets are seeing exceptional growth of late as more investors and affluent advisors seek non-correlated alternative investments with conventional long portofolios, the company said in a statement. Westcore is a commodity brokerage services firm that provides trading access to such investments which are designed to serve the trading needs of investors and wealth managers.
